What I'm looking for

I'm looking for remote, task-based engineering work where I can build and debug Java backend systems, investigate production issues, validate fixes with reproducible evidence, and collaborate with distributed teams.

I'm currently building and maintaining Java/Spring backend systems for banking and financial-services clients at Ciphertext Solutions, integrating with external card-processing and core-banking platforms through REST and SOAP APIs.

I've investigated production incidents involving authorization failures, downstream errors, high-latency calls, data mapping, and integration behavior. In one card-processing workflow, I traced individual 6–15 second external calls, identified redundant work and failure paths, and restructured the flow to improve reliability and isolate failures.

Across 15+ years in software development, I've worked hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, relational databases, APIs, production support, testing, and code review. I also led four developers at Wiprojects while contributing directly to analysis, implementation, debugging, integrations, and delivery.
