What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead education and consulting initiatives where rigorous scholarship meets real-world impact—building programs, mentoring others, and shaping curricula that deepen understanding of Islamic texts and contemporary issues.

I am an educator with deep expertise in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations—Arabic/Islamic Studies, including Hadith as Scripture and Qur’an-based interpretations. My published books, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries reflect a commitment to rigorous textual scholarship and thoughtful engagement with contemporary questions.

I have also built impact through teaching and curriculum design as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer, developing and delivering courses such as Introduction to the Quran, Hadith: Voice of the Prophet, Islamic Jurisprudence, and courses on religion in the contemporary world. As I lead AYM Education & Consulting, I focus on program development, mentoring, and translating scholarly depth into educational experiences that strengthen communities and inform public understanding.
