What I'm looking for

I seek a role where I can manage financial reporting and compliance, support donor-funded projects, and grow into broader finance leadership while mentoring teams.

I am a self-driven accountant with over four years' experience in general accounting and finance roles, focused on financial reporting, compliance and donor-funded project accounting. I prepare, examine and analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.

In my current role as Finance Officer at an international NGO, I manage monthly, quarterly and annual donor reporting, tax and statutory filings, budget analysis and fund tracking. I led the migration from offline QuickBooks to QuickBooks Online, developed project reporting templates and trained community organizations in Excel for bookkeeping.

Previously I handled invoicing, tax compliance, payroll, internal audits and financial statement preparation at a legal firm and served as project accountant for a consortium-funded initiative with Oxfam Uganda, ensuring proper disbursement, documentation and internal controls for project funds.
