What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior teaching or artistic director position in China. I bring award-winning youth jazz leadership, structured improvisation curriculum work, and a 100% exam pass record—ready to relocate and collaborate.

I’m an award-winning music educator and ensemble conductor with over 20 years of international experience across Russia and Australia. I combine deep pedagogical expertise with curriculum innovation, and I’m actively seeking a senior teaching or artistic director position in China, fully prepared for relocation.

As a Senior Teacher & Head of Wind, Brass & Percussion Department at Children Music School in Russia, I direct the school’s flagship Big Band and 3 junior jazz ensembles, leading 30+ young musicians. My ensembles have achieved Grand-Prix victories in the Regional Jazz Competition (Vladivostok, 2016 & 2026) and 1st Prize at the International Music Competition (Belgrade, Serbia, 2016).

I developed an original 5-level jazz improvisation curriculum that boosted student retention by 25% and concert participation by 40%, and I’ve guided 15+ graduates to music colleges and conservatories. I supervise 5 instructors, coordinate scheduling and repertoire, manage 17+ annual concerts, maintain a 100% pass rate for school jazz grade examinations, and was recognised as director of the Exemplary Youth Jazz Band (2025).

Earlier, I founded the school’s first children’s jazz ensemble and built rehearsal/performance systems, then later worked as a self-employed Private Music Teacher (ages 8–18) in trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar, bass, and drums. I hold a Specialist Degree in Jazz/Pop Wind Ensemble Conducting & Pedagogy (equivalent to Master’s), TESOL (120 hours) / TEFL, and I teach with a results-driven, student-first mindset.
