Dmitry Buiko

I am a software engineer focused on designing and implementing backend microservices and high-performance systems using Go and C/C++. I bring hands-on experience across the full SDLC including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

At Equinix I contributed to a cloud billing platform, stabilizing databases, improving deployment pipelines with Kubernetes and Argo CD, and delivering APIs and streaming gRPC optimizations. I also improved developer tooling such as proto generation and Docker Compose compatibility.

At FuboTV I worked on the Signals team building content scheduling and switching systems, dramatically reducing latency and code size by refactoring services, replacing ORMs with PostgreSQL CTEs, and redesigning event-driven architecture migrating from NSQ to Kafka.

Earlier, I developed embedded Linux solutions in C/C++ for digital TV set-top boxes, implementing streaming standards and optimizing memory usage for resource-constrained devices. I value pragmatic engineering, measurable performance improvements, and robust, testable systems.
