Diyang Ma

I participated in New Dawn's data research project, focusing on data collection and analysis for the CBRM region. This was also New Dawn's first data analysis project. I gained a lot of relevant experience and communication skills in this project.

This is my first part time job in Canada, it makes me more comfortable with the pace of life in Canada and allows me to better integrate into the local community and learns about the local culture, which was a great experience.

It is a seasoning oil product company; the main sales market is in the rural market. I was responsible for the statistics and analysis of market data. Sometimes also responsible for maintaining customers. This is a totally different field that I’ve never been. I tried my best to keep up with team and I truly did it, I learnt a lot at few moments to deal with various unexpected problems.

As I learned in my university life as a GP, I rotated almost all department. During this internship, I have felt a lot of accomplishment when I really helped patient and experienced many disappointing times when I didn’t have enough ability to save them. At this period, I got a deep experience with the position about teamwork and how good a well-coordinated team can be.
