I build high-throughput distributed systems in Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka. I’ve designed microservices from scratch and kept low-latency performance steady under heavy concurrent load.

At Tesco (Bengaluru), I introduced structured runbooks and Splunk alert dashboards to cut on-call incident recovery time by ~35% and improve service SLA adherence. I also built core microservices (Product, Order, Payment) using Kafka-based event choreography to replace synchronous REST calls and reduce cascading failures.

I’ve implemented Saga-based distributed transactions with compensating actions like stock release and payment reversal, and I’ve maintained data consistency during downstream failures. On the reliability side, I built an atomic multi-tenant distributed rate limiter with Redis Lua scripts, and I used Resilience4j circuit breakers to preserve availability during Redis outages.

I’ve improved production observability by instrumenting distributed flows in Splunk and validating end-to-end failure scenarios with Testcontainers in CI/CD pipelines. Earlier at Wipro, I delivered an event-driven job scheduling platform, ensured at-least-once delivery with DLQ and idempotent handlers, and built internal tooling to speed up root-cause analysis across recurring incidents.
