At Anthem Biosciences Limited, I develop and optimize downstream purification processes for recombinant proteins and biologic drug candidates, including a small molecule used in drug delivery and biomedical imaging. I use chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and design of experiments to support process optimization.
I also maintain GMP-aligned technical and quality documentation in line with ICH and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with process development, analytical sciences, and manufacturing teams.
During my Master's Thesis Research Internship at CSIR – Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), I researched approaches to modify adipocyte functionality through adipogenic differentiation and enrich T-regulatory cell proliferation using CDRI compounds. I also handled laboratory animals for in vivo studies and worked with cell lines and immunoblotting.
I'm extending that thesis research into computational drug discovery through an ongoing QSAR project predicting PPAR-gamma bioactivity. I'm building a Python pipeline using RDKit, pandas, and ChEMBL data, and I have a peer-reviewed publication on neurological aspects of COVID-19 infection.
