Diogo Espirito Santo

I’m a Computer Systems Engineering student from Portugal, driven by software architecture, back-end development, and the craft of building scalable solutions. I’m especially motivated to turn requirements into clean, maintainable systems using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern engineering practices.

In my Portlane internship/project, I developed a Corporate Performance Evaluation System (SaaS) integrated into the company’s internal platform. I led end-to-end internationalization (i18n) for a complex ASP.NET Core MVC application across 5 languages (PT, EN, FR, ES, DE).

I also handled the data and UI foundations for multilingual functionality. I migrated database schemas using Entity Framework Core (Code-First) to store multilingual content securely, implemented dynamic localization with .resx files, ResourceManager, and conditional rendering in Razor Views (.cshtml), and secured HTTP POST requests using overposting protection ([Bind] attributes).

I enjoy building data-driven experiences, so I configured and translated interactive dashboards using Chart.js and ApexCharts for global performance tracking. Beyond development, I bring strong communication and teamwork skills from roles like Store Associate, Waiter, and Store Clerk—making me reliable, organized, and a fast learner as I grow in software architecture and technology.
