I seek a role combining chemical engineering and AI—building reliable, data-driven systems in a collaborative, mission-driven team where I can apply math, prompt engineering, and research skills while supporting diverse communities.

I am a chemical engineer and prompt engineer committed to building healthier communities through engineering and data. I combine a strong mathematics foundation (algebra, calculus, statistics, trigonometry, discrete mathematics) with practical computer science and chemical engineering experience to solve real problems.

In my current role I design API prompts to guide LLMs toward specific, relevant outputs, train AI using algorithms, review chatbot responses, and surface edge cases for developers. In academic work I led a senior capstone team that simulated an economically viable ethylene glycol plant, managed PFDs and P&IDs, and delivered technical reports and presentations.

My background includes a summer chemical engineering internship at a major nuclear site where I designed an operations database, and a NASA-affiliated rocket research project using SolidWorks CAD and Ansys Fluent CFD. I also taught coding and math to K–8 students, work bilingually in English and Spanish, and bring dependability, adaptability, and patience to collaborative teams.
