Diego Furest

Finance leader with 20+ years of experience across banking, consulting, and technology, most recently as Director of Finance leading regional finance operations for a multinational technology company. CPA and MBA with a track record in FP&A, financial strategy, and post-merger integration, consistently focused on turning finance into a driver of business decisions rather than a back-office function.

In my most recent role, I led the finance function for a 13-person team across four countries with combined regional revenue of approximately USD 70M, supporting the post-merger integration following an acquisition and cutting the financial reporting cycle from 22 days to 5 business days. Earlier in my career, I managed a credit portfolio of over EUR 200M across Latin America and co-founded an impact investing advisory firm working with financial institutions in the region.

I'm also a financial partner in my family's cattle business in Uruguay, where I've been involved in financial and strategic planning since 2009. I'm drawn to organizations where finance has a real seat at the table, and I build teams around clarity, accountability, and direct communication.
