Diego Fernando Mancera Gomez
@diegofernandomancera
Full-stack developer and computer systems student delivering secure React/Node platforms with REST APIs and Stripe-backed payments.
What I'm looking for
I’m a full-stack developer and Computer Systems Engineering student focused on building secure, maintainable products. I’m disciplined about clean code, coding standards, and security—especially server-side validation and JWT-protected flows.
At CapiHw Labs León (remote/freelance), I build and maintain full-stack web platforms using Next.js and Node.js. I design and consume REST APIs backed by PostgreSQL (Supabase), implement Stripe payments via serverless Edge Functions (Deno/TypeScript), and reconcile events into a PostgreSQL ledger using webhooks—backed by security best practices like server-side amount validation and JWT-verified requests.
I also contribute to the Linux Kernel as an open source contributor, writing and submitting C and Rust patches following strict coding standards and review processes. I’ve refactored low-level logic in drivers (rtl8723bs and sm750fb) to improve readability and alignment through iterative code review.
Beyond software development, I’ve handled technical support and hardware maintenance, resolving 15+ tickets with defined SLA. I enjoy working autonomously in remote, English-speaking teams, and I’m looking to grow into a long-term software-engineering career where I can keep shipping reliable systems end to end.
