I’m a Health and Safety professional with experience in OHS program implementation, risk assessment support, and incident investigation. I focus on building practical, compliant safe work practices that people can use every day.

At Island Health, I spearheaded a respiratory protection program for approximately 25 sites and 5,000 employees, delivering comprehensive respiratory protection training and fit testing (N95, elastomeric, full-face, PAPR). I also trained staff and leadership on safe room entry protocols for potential exposure to illicit substances, including appropriate use of exposure kits and full-face respirators.

I’ve led chemical and hazardous material spill training and drills for laboratory, operating room, and pharmacy environments, and worked with managers and staff to strengthen compliance. I manage training records, monitor compliance, support audit readiness, and contribute to corrective actions by helping inform risk assessments and incident investigation outcomes.
