What I'm looking for

I seek research or data-focused roles in bioinformatics/genomics where I can apply programming, analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration to produce publishable results and support student learning.

I am a Master's in Science candidate with a background in engineering and a Bachelor's from the Autonomous University of Baja California, with study-abroad experience at Montanuniversitaet Leoben. I combine practical student-services and tutoring experience with volunteer work and academic research.

My technical strengths include MATLAB, Python, C++, R and Office packages, and I apply these tools to bioinformatics and population genomics analysis. I authored research on high-density LD-based structural variation analysis in native and Mestizo Mexican populations.

I bring strong research, problem-solving and bilingual communication skills (Spanish and English, intermediate German), and I seek roles where I can contribute to genomics/bioinformatics projects, data analysis, and applied research in interdisciplinary teams.
