I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 9 years of experience designing and delivering high-throughput, distributed backend systems at Walmart scale. I bring deep expertise in Java, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, and Spring Boot—applied to microservices architecture, event-driven pipelines, and large-scale data platforms.

I’ve built end-to-end workflows and modules that materially improve how teams operate. In one system, I engineered an end-to-end Duplicate Review & Resolution workflow using Apache Spark for high-throughput BigQuery ingestion, Kafka for async communication, Airflow for orchestration, and REST APIs—processing 250K–300K catalog items per cycle and improving auditor AHT by 60%.

I also led platform capabilities that balance scale, quality, and visibility. I delivered a ProductType Classification module with rules validation and event-driven state transitions, reducing auditor AHT by 40% and achieving $49K annual vendor cost savings, while also building high-throughput Spark batch pipelines for variant split & merge catalog uploads (50K–1M items/day) and reducing upload failure rate by 20%.

Across teams, I focus on reliability, observability, and enabling others. I elevated observability with a backend quality metrics service persisted to Elasticsearch and consumed via Tableau dashboards and a BFF layer, and I’ve mentored engineers in system design, test-driven development (TDD), API design principles, and production debugging to improve velocity and code review quality.
