At Sri Lanka Ports Authority, I worked as a Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Trainee on inventory management systems, purchasing methods, procedures, and layout planning. My project work included an inventory management system for the JCT Electrical Section using Google Sheets and Apps Script.
At Hayleys Fibre PLC, I worked as a Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Trainee on production planning, scheduling, and layout design. I also worked on a monthly production planning and scheduling system and an efficiency improvement project for a needled coir plant.
As a Temporary Instructor at the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, FoE, UoP, I tutored SolidWorks and conducted product design projects, lab classes, and tutorials.
