What I'm looking for

I seek public health roles where I can lead surveillance, outbreak response, and data analysis to inform policy and improve population health in collaborative, impact-focused teams.

I am a Field Epidemiology MPH resident and public health practitioner with over eight years of experience in health centers, health offices, and zonal health departments in Southwest Ethiopia. I combine rigorous training (MPH, Applied/General Field Epidemiology) with hands-on leadership in surveillance, outbreak investigation, and program evaluation.

My work emphasizes data-driven public health: I have advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, and STATA, practical GIS experience, and have conducted hypertension surveillance analyses, system evaluations, and community health assessments that informed local program and policy decisions.

I am a collaborative, self-motivated team player with a record of scientific dissemination — abstracts and papers presented at AFENET Global Scientific Conferences — and I focus on strengthening responses to public health threats and building evidence for effective interventions.
