What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an electrical or renewable-energy role where I can design, install, test, commission, and maintain reliable electrical and solar PV systems while contributing practical training, safety compliance, and technical problem-solving.

I'm currently supporting electrical and renewable energy systems at the Technical University of Mombasa, where I design and size solar PV systems in PVsyst, prepare BOQs and technical reports, and train students on BESS, motors, PLCs, batteries, and EVs.

As a freelance electrician, I deliver end-to-end electrical and solar PV installations, from site surveys and load assessments through panel mounting, inverter configuration, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance.

My utility-scale power systems experience includes an engineering internship at Kenya Power, where I carried out transformer testing, smart-meter and power-system maintenance, high-tension pole first-aid operations, and distribution-line fault response.

I also bring teaching, workshop supervision, AutoCAD drafting, IEC standards, electrical testing, and diagnostic experience. I enjoy turning technical drawings and field findings into safe, practical electrical solutions.
