What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a mental health role focused on crisis intervention and trauma-informed, person-centered care—where I can assess quickly, de-escalate safely, and connect people to the right community services with culturally competent teamwork.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #82289 State of Texas) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #cc2604 State of Minnesota) with 10+ years of experience in the mental health field. I bring fluent French and English communication, and a strong track record of working effectively with diverse populations and people across cultures and ages.

In my current role on the Adult Crisis Response Team (Ramsey County), I provide supportive phone counseling and 24/7/365 crisis triage, as well as face-to-face assessment and intervention for adults and children within the county. I focus on clinical decision making, de-escalation, brief counseling, symptom education, and connecting individuals and families to community-based mental and chemical health services.

I also lead and support multidisciplinary services through roles including Mental Health Professional - IRTS (People Inc), where I develop and implement client mental health services, ensure documentation standards are met, and provide one-to-one and group therapy. My work includes ongoing assessments, completing diagnostic assessments within 5 days of admission, and advocating to coordinate required services during emergencies.

My background extends to Child Protection Services (Hennepin County), where I investigated allegations of child abuse or neglect, interviewed families and relevant parties, developed safety plans, and prepared documentation and court testimony. Across therapy, case management, and program coordination roles, I emphasize recovery, trauma-informed, person-centered models of care, effective crisis assessment tools for suicidal/aggressive behavior, and collaborating with emergency responders, hospitals, and interdisciplinary teams.
