What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an internship or junior developer role where I can build backend systems, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to projects involving software engineering and AI—while growing my skills in real, production-style development.

I’m a backend developer and Information Technology student who enjoys turning practical needs into reliable software. I’ve built web applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs, with a focus on clean, maintainable backend logic.

In my GradeFlow project, I developed a grading management platform to streamline student grading and report generation. I implemented role-based portals for IT administrators, sponsors, and teachers, and built REST APIs with dynamic grading workflows that automatically calculate averages and compile report cards.

Through automation and centralized data storage, I reduced manual grading errors by ~95% and cut grading administration time by ~90%, eliminating report card loss issues and improving long-term access to records. I take pride in building systems that save time and reduce human error.

I’m also working on KOLOAI, an in-progress conversational AI assistant for Liberian Pidgin, exploring NLP techniques for local language applications. Beyond coding, I founded and lead a community that runs learning sessions and collaborative software projects, helping others “learn, build, and reach out.”
