Denis Andreyev
@denisandreyev
Backend & full-stack engineer at happyend.kz who migrated its e-commerce platform to Next.js and PostgreSQL, now open to backend, full-stack and DevOps roles.
KazakhstanWhat I'm looking for
At happyend.kz, I run development of the Happy End e-commerce platform solo. I migrated the store from 1C-Bitrix to a Next.js, PostgreSQL and PHP API stack, completing the production cutover in September 2026.
I built the storefront, checkout and customer accounts, including online payments through Halyk Bank ePay. I also added analytics and reporting, and the platform has more than 3,700 automated tests.
At Kostanay News, I built a multi-tenant media platform from scratch for two city news portals. It included a Go REST API, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, hybrid search and a RAG assistant using self-hosted embeddings.
At Nazarbayev University, I’m building a multithreaded Julia pipeline for large 3D astronomical datasets, with processing on the university HPC cluster. I also work on GPU-based video transformer fine-tuning and inference, and use AI coding agents daily while taking responsibility for testing, deployment and monitoring.
