DeMonte Russell

I’m a Broadcast/Live Event Intern at Mississippi State University, where I support live sporting-event production in behind-the-scenes roles. I assist with stats and bullpen/subs workflows and help support the graphics side of the broadcast.

Alongside my internship, I built a strong professional work ethic through football with Mississippi State University Athletics. I dev ote 35+ hours per week to football in addition to being a full-time student, and I developed leadership through consistent training, competition, and communication with teammates, coaches, and administration.

Academically, I earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Mississippi State University and’m completing my Master’s of Workforce Education and Leadership (May 2024). My academic performance is reflected in SEC Honor Roll recognition.

I also bring a service mindset through MLK Day of Service and ongoing community involvement, including working with youth-focused organizations and clean-up efforts. I’m motivated by roles that reward reliability, collaboration, and steady performance under pressure.
