Deja Willis

I'm currently a VALLSS Instructor with Portsmouth Public Schools, supporting kindergarten through first-grade students with letter recognition, literacy skills, and reading comprehension in small groups.

Previously, I worked as an Instructional Assistant supporting kindergarten teachers with lesson planning and learning preparation. As a Registered Behavior Technician at Butterfly Effects, I created lessons and taught communication and social interaction skills to children with intellectual disabilities.

I've also provided daily living support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, including meal preparation, hygiene supervision, transportation, communication training, and social-skills support. I hold a bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have a special interest in early childhood development and psychology.
