Degaga Alemayehu

I am a final-year Electrical & Computer Engineering student at Hawassa University with strong focus on full-stack web development and AI-related studies. I combine engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building scalable web services using JavaScript, Node.js, and React.

I have developed production-oriented backend services and interactive frontends, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications. My projects include an IoT smart-home dashboard and a high-concurrency payment processing platform featuring real-time merchant analytics.

Alongside software engineering, I bring linguistic expertise as a native Afaan Oromo speaker and Qubee expert, applying that knowledge to AI model evaluation, prompt engineering, and improving model reasoning. I am comfortable with tools like Git, GitHub, VS Code, and RESTful APIs.
