What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can ship production-ready ML—especially LLM/NLP and computer vision—using strong MLOps practices on AWS, with room to iterate on model performance, monitoring, and real operational impact.

I’m a Data Scientist who designs and deploys ML solutions that work reliably in production. At United Airlines, I led a GenAI LLM-powered email triage system that classifies incoming customer emails into actionable categories and routes them to the right departments, using Claude via AWS Bedrock with preprocessing, PII removal, and noise filtering.

I also built and deployed a real-time object tracking system for bag counting at the aircraft gate, improving operational outcomes with automated alerts and predictive modeling. I migrated from YOLOv8 to RT-DETR for better performance on small/overlapping objects (saving $80K licensing cost), and supported serverless + event-driven deployment with AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS SQS—pairing strong accuracy (85%+) with measurable savings across delay-related costs.
