I am an economic planning specialist and public financial management expert with over 13 years of combined experience across academia, public service, and civil society. I hold a Ph.D. in Banking & Finance and have published extensively on fiscal policy, taxation, public debt, governance, and economic growth.
As Honourable Commissioner for Budget & Planning, Government of Enugu State (2019–2023), I led preparation and implementation of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and multi-billion-naira budgets, institutionalised fiscal transparency tools, and expanded citizen participation in the budget process.
I serve as Senior Adviser (Economic) at Thoughts and Mace Advisory and as an Independent Consultant on Public Finance for Children with UNICEF (Enugu Field Office), providing strategic advisory support on fiscal policy, domestic resource mobilisation for nutrition financing, and evidence-based policy recommendations for state and local governments.
I am a CSIS Abshir-Inamori Leadership Academy fellow and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, with a proven track record in coalition-building, stakeholder engagement, and designing reforms that strengthen fiscal discipline and inclusive economic development.
