What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead economic policy planning and program evaluations, using quantitative analysis and survey methods to inform decisions. I want to work in an environment that values research writing, evidence, and measurable impact.

I’m a Principal Planning Officer in the Department of Budget, Planning, Research, and Statistics, Plateau State, Nigeria, leading economic policy planning and development program evaluations. I analyze socio-economic data and trends for decision-making, and I supervise survey implementation and statistical reporting.

With an MSc Economics and a strong background in accountancy, I’ve built my career at the intersection of research and policy delivery. Previously, I served as a Senior Planning Officer and earlier as a Planning Officer in the same department, contributing across planning, analysis, and reporting.

I also bring teaching experience as a part-time lecturer in Accounting, including teaching Principles of Accounting, supervising student projects, and assisting in curriculum development. My research interests include inequality and poverty in developing countries, theoretical and mathematical economic modelling, and survey experiments and behavioral economics.
