What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-first team where I can own secure, high-performance PHP backend services and REST APIs. I want to keep improving latency, reliability, and integrations (including payments), while building with modern tooling and AI-assisted development.

I’m a senior backend engineer with 8 years building secure, high-performance PHP services and the RESTful APIs behind them. With a B.Tech in Cyber Security, I treat web-security and reliability as first principles.

At ActiveProspect, I own PHP/Laravel backend services that process tens to hundreds of millions of records daily, keeping RESTful APIs at sub-200ms response times. I reduced p99 latency by 40% using Redis caching, MySQL query optimization, and read replicas, and I led a zero-downtime migration toward microservices.

Earlier, at MTC UK, I designed and documented REST APIs from scratch, scaling to 100,000+ daily requests for global e-commerce brands at 99.9% uptime. I integrated third-party services and payment-processing systems, debugging production integration and data-consistency issues in real time.

I also delivered payment and fintech-grade experiences at CreditClan and built billing/subscription APIs with payment gateways at Mayapro1, while grounding everything in clean, maintainable code. I work remotely and build daily with AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), using Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and cloud deployment on DigitalOcean.
