Daryll Tadiar

I am a mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in the mining industry, specializing in grinding section maintenance and ball mill alignment. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Louis University - Baguio (2019–2023).

In my current role as Maintenance Planner - Grinding Section at Philex Mining Corporation (2024–Present), I manage and schedule manpower for planned maintenance activities and forecast relining and machinery accessory needs to support timely procurement.

I coordinate with suppliers and contractors, plan and oversee preventive maintenance including ball mill alignment, and perform equipment inspections during shutdowns to ensure safe, reliable operation. I also create Gantt charts in Excel and use AutoCAD for planning tasks.

I conduct studies to reduce costs and improve mill performance, prepare post-shutdown reports, and maintain documentation to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
