I accepted orders, first as a recruiter and later as the Recruiter-in-Charge of a U.S. Navy Recruiting Station in Eastern Kentucky, USA. I was responsible for developing relationships with centers of influence in the community and making our monthly military assession goals for myself and the other recruiters in the station.

Additionally, I was responsible for training our new recruits.

I joined the United States Navy as a Lithographer Seaman Apprentice.

I retired in July 2011 as a Chief Mass Communications Specialist.
