I am looking for a position where I can help to grow an effort or organization.

Daryle Bayless, a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer – is the Director of Communications and Legislative Affairs For the West Virginia Department of Veterans Assistance. He served in several previous roles for the Department, including as the Director of Operations, Assistant Operations Manager, and Veteran Service Officer.

While active duty, Bayless has had a broad range of assignments, including Deputy Public Affairs Officer of USS Wasp (LHD-1), Associate Editor of Naval Aviation News Magazine, Assignments Desk Deputy Director for the Naval Media Center, PSYOPS Radio Network Deputy Director for the International Security Assistance Force – Afghanistan for Regional Command–South, and Broadcast Operations Manager for Defense Media Activity’s Navy Production Directorate.

Following his retirement from the Navy in 2011, Bayless became a Forward Media Team Leader and eventually Forward Media Section Chief for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force – Afghanistan - Combined Joint Psychological Operations Task Force.

He returned home to West Virginia in 2014 and earned his Reagents Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University Institute of Technology the following year.
