I'm Danish Asif, a Frontend Engineer with 4+ years of experience building production web applications with React, Next.js, Vue, and Nuxt.js.

Over the past four years, I've worked across the full lifecycle of frontend development, from architecting component systems and state management from scratch to optimizing existing codebases for performance and maintainability. My approach has always been the same: build interfaces that hold up under real users and real scale.

That philosophy has shaped the kind of work I take on. I've built dashboards that teams rely on daily, AI-powered interfaces that need to gracefully handle streaming responses, unpredictable output lengths, and the loading and error states that come with working against a non-deterministic backend. And I've shipped production work like rehanisoko.com, where performance and reliability weren't optional extras but core requirements from day one.

What I bring:

→ Strong hands-on experience across React, Next.js, Vue, and Nuxt.js, developed in production environments rather than isolated tutorials or side projects

→ Ownership of frontend architecture decisions, including component structure, state management strategy, and API integration patterns, not just implementation against a handed-down spec

→ Practical experience building AI-integrated interfaces, including chat UIs, streaming response handling, and the UX patterns needed to make AI-driven features feel responsive and trustworthy rather than unpredictable

→ Currently expanding into full-stack development with Python and FastAPI, driven by a preference for owning more of the system end to end rather than being blocked on backend decisions outside my control

→ A consistent habit of shipping and iterating quickly rather than waiting for a fully polished version before putting work in front of real users, most recently applied to ToolBox, a browser-based utility application I designed and built independently

→ A track record of working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams, translating ambiguous or evolving requirements into features that actually ship
→ I care about the details that don't always show up in a portfolio screenshot: load times, accessibility, cross-browser consistency, and code that the next person working on it can actually understand. The goal is always a product that works well for the people using it.

I'm open to frontend roles and contract work, particularly opportunities where both speed and quality are genuinely valued, not treated as a tradeoff.
