Daniel Torres
@danieltorres5
I build decentralized identity and high-throughput blockchain systems in Go.
What I'm looking for
At Paxos, I architect core Layer-1 blockchain services in Golang for verifiable identity registration and trusted peer-to-peer transactions. I build Proof-of-Identity consensus with Cosmos SDK and Tendermint, storage layers using hash tables and Merkle trees, and validator networking designed to support over a billion users.
Previously, at Nazreen Consulting, I delivered production blockchain backends, smart contracts, wallet infrastructure, indexers, decentralized identity workflows, and DeFi integrations including Uniswap. I led backend teams, mentored developers in Go concurrency and distributed systems, and deployed secure cloud-based blockchain solutions on AWS and Azure.
My earlier work at Microsoft and BMC Software covered full-stack cloud applications, REST APIs, microservices, databases, CI/CD, and enterprise monitoring systems. I enjoy ambiguous, founding-engineer environments where I can help build decentralized identity infrastructure that distinguishes unique humans from bots.
