What I'm looking for

I seek roles combining new-play development, directing, and teaching within collaborative, mission-driven organizations that value community engagement and artistic risk.

I am a theatre director, educator, and playwright with MFA training in New Play Development from Boston University and a BA from Kenyon College. I found and led multiple ensembles, directed world premieres, and developed devised works that center transformative rehearsal processes and questions of power and morality.

My work blends new-play development, classical text, and community-centered pedagogy: I have directed Shakespeare, contemporary plays, and original devised pieces, earning awards and nominations while premiering multiple works. I also write plays that have been produced, workshopped, and adapted for film.

I teach across ages—from toddlers to elders—designing curricula in acting, playwriting, improvisation, voice, and devising; I serve in school leadership roles and prioritize creating safe spaces where creativity can thrive.
