Aspiring data scientist with a strong foundation in computer science.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated and passionate aspiring data scientist currently pursuing a Master's in Data Science at Hofstra University, where I maintain a perfect GPA of 4.0. My academic background in Computer Science and Mathematics has equipped me with a solid foundation in various programming languages and statistical methods. I have consistently been recognized for my academic excellence, making the Dean's List multiple times.
My professional experience includes conducting undergraduate research focused on automating medical wound closure through advanced image segmentation techniques. I have developed a wound image segmentation model using U-Net architecture, achieving a 93.7% Dice score. Additionally, I mentor students in mathematics, helping them excel in calculus and pre-calculus, and I actively participate in community service through my engineering fraternity.
Throughout my projects, I have demonstrated my ability to lead and innovate, such as in my senior design project where I developed a GPU-accelerated pipeline for real-time 3D reconstruction. I am eager to apply my skills in a challenging role that allows me to contribute to impactful projects while continuing to grow professionally.
