I’m looking for a role where I can lead backend development with PHP/Symfony—building REST APIs, modernizing legacy systems, and applying Hexagonal Architecture and DDD in distributed teams.

I’m a Backend Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience developing and refactoring web platforms using PHP and Symfony. I build REST APIs, modernize legacy systems, and apply hexagonal architecture and DDD to create maintainable backend solutions.

In my most recent role as a Technical lead (CSIRT-CAN - Gobierno de Canarias), I coordinated security and digital infrastructure while supporting engineering team efforts for website design. Previously, at Coniq/Finizens/AT Sistemas, I migrated legacy MVC architectures into Hexagonal Architecture and DDD patterns and optimized backend performance, working across a distributed team with Agile/SCRUM and Kanban.
