Daniela Lopez
@danielalopez1
Industrial engineer focused on logistics and supply chain optimization, freight-rate analysis, and data-backed process improvements.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Industrial Engineer with a master’s in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management, specializing in supply chain operations, freight rate analysis, and logistics process optimization. I build operational clarity through continuous improvement and data-backed decision-making.
In my current role as an A/P and Logistics Analyst at Port to Port, I audit ocean freight invoices against negotiated contract rates and analyze market rate trends to spot billing discrepancies. I also verify carrier contracts against negotiated terms, oversee charge processing in QuickBooks, and conduct cross-system audits to reconcile internal records with carrier billing for accuracy and compliance. When discrepancies arise, I coordinate with steamship companies to resolve freight rate issues and negotiate favorable dispute outcomes.
Previously, as an Internal Auditor at Embotelladora de Sula, I conducted financial and operational audits to evaluate process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. I managed finished goods and materials inventory for accuracy and optimal resource utilization, identified and mitigated operational and financial risks, and translated findings into actionable improvement recommendations. I also analyzed company resources to support data-driven decisions.
Earlier, as a Manufacturing Intern, I supported bottling operations by maintaining efficiency and product quality standards, managing raw materials and production resources, and performing quality control inspections. I bring a practical, detail-oriented mindset shaped by Lean Manufacturing and 5S, and I’m certified in Google Data Analytics to strengthen how I turn logistics and audit signals into usable insights.
