What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply deep learning, medical imaging, Edge AI, and process simulation to healthcare technology projects with measurable clinical and operational impact.

At Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, I built an nnU-Net diagnostic support system for automatic ischemic stroke detection and segmentation, deploying it on NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX. I reduced per-volume processing time from 15.3 to 10.2 seconds at 10–13 W while maintaining clinically comparable segmentation quality to NVIDIA A100 inference; this work was published in Sensors as first author.

I'm also completing a Master’s in Industrial Organization, modeling stroke-code care pathways with queueing theory and discrete-event simulation to assess automated image interpretation and economic feasibility. At Grifols, I managed GxP-compliant materials documentation, designed experimental protocols, tested prototypes, and analyzed R&D data within medical-device regulatory frameworks.

Investigador Junior

Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena

Jun 2025 - Jun 2026 (1 year)
