Daksh Kumar Singh
@dakshkumarsingh
I design integrated quantum photonic devices and machine-learning workflows for secure optical hardware.
What I'm looking for
I'm continuing remote research collaborations with Purdue faculty and project teams on quantum key distribution, topology-optimized metasurface cavities, holographic optical PUF authentication, and hybrid quantum-photonic research.
At Purdue University, I designed silicon nitride dual-ring resonators for quantum photonic circuits with simulated intrinsic quality factors near 500,000, optimized more than 2,000 fiber-to-chip inverse-taper geometries to reach 99.99% simulated TE₀ coupling, and designed a 1550 nm Mach–Zehnder beam splitter with approximately 95% simulated transmission.
I built scalable Julia and Python workflows for electromagnetic simulation, parameter sweeps, device optimization, and analysis. My thesis connected physics-informed optical semiconductor authentication with photonic integrated-circuit design.
Across nanophotonics and optical hardware security, I've fabricated plasmonic PUFs and more than 40 Au-contacted waveguide devices, developed a residual-attention CNN achieving 97.6% classification accuracy, and contributed to four publications or conference proceedings and a pending U.S. patent.
