I’m a horticulturist with a Master’s in Agriculture (Horticulture: Vegetable Science) from Lovely Professional University. My academic research focused on hydroponics—specifically “Standardization of substrate for lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) cultivation in hydroponics.”
I’m genuinely driven by hydroponics and want to take my knowledge to the next level. During my Master’s program, I built practical hydroponics experience through research, and I also set up a hydroponic system at home during the lockdown.
Today, I manage a 1-acre greenhouse as a self-employed polyhouse operator, growing cucumbers. I’ve successfully been running the polyhouse and also built a small hydroponics setup from PVC pipes with a capacity of 140 plants.
