At Safaricom PLC, I developed Java Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux services integrating with M-Pesa's transaction systems. I also built an AWS S3 data-ingestion integration for bulk user onboarding, removing manual intervention and API timeouts.
I maintained Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and contributed to containerized microservices on AWS and Kubernetes. In production, I troubleshot issues across application, integration, deployment, and database layers, including optimizing PostgreSQL queries and adding Redis caching.
At Hekima Store, I built the platform end to end on Next.js, integrating payments, storage, and notifications for a creator-commerce product supporting 1,000+ creator stores. I implemented secure content delivery and order fulfillment, along with Row-Level Security on Supabase.
At Amaris Chemical Solutions, I built and maintained a Ruby on Rails laboratory management system and wrote automated tests with RSpec and Jest. I also use Claude Code in my development work and built a Claude agent workflow to automate recurring internal reporting.
