I’m an Accountant with strong experience across audit, professional consulting, and group financial reporting. I thrive on taking ownership, working with precision, and delivering responsibilities “to the perfection,” while collaborating effectively with teams.
In my current role at CIC HOLDINGS PLC, I prepare quartery consolidated financial statements, oversee day-to-day financial operations for an industrial chemicals strategic business unit, and compile monthly management reporting for the group. I also engage in annual financial statement finalization, annual report preparation including ESG reporting, and consolidation of annual budgets.
Previously at KPMG Sri Lanka’s Department of Professional Practice and Audit & Assurance, I reviewed financial asset impairment and insurance assessments for accuracy and compliance with IFRSs, and assessed hedge accounting treatments. I guided and directed junior team members, reported to managers and partners, and coordinated/negotiated with clients to complete professional assignments.
My audit background includes planning, coordinating, and directing multiple audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRSs and IASs, and preparing audit committee presentations, audited financial statements, and audit reports. I bring a practical, analytical mindset supported by tools like SAP ERP and working knowledge of SPSS, STATA, and IDEA.
