At KPMG Sri Lanka, I progressed from Audit Trainee Associate to Audit Supervisor, working on audits across manufacturing, hospitality, investments, and other industries. I performed and supervised standalone and group audits of Public Interest Entities and private companies in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and IFRS/SLFRS.
As Audit Supervisor, I directed fieldwork, reviewed audit work and financial statements, and coached associates and trainees. I also managed engagement progress and led special audit engagements.
My audit work has included risk assessments, internal control evaluations, financial statement preparation, and tax and deferred tax computations. I hold a BA (Hons) in International Business and Finance, am at the Strategic Professional level of ACCA, and am an AAT Passed Finalist.
