What I'm looking for

I seek hands-on roles in cloud, network or application security at growth-focused teams where I can apply penetration testing, cloud architecture and mentorship experience while advancing certifications and impact.

I am a security researcher specializing in cloud, network and web application security, currently pursuing a BSc in Information Security and Forensics. I have practical internship experience across cybersecurity, cloud architecture, web development and backend engineering.

My hands-on accomplishments include web penetration testing, vulnerability assessments using Burp Suite, SQLMap and Kali Linux, building cloud-hosted applications, and simulating local networks with Cisco Packet Tracer. I hold multiple certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect SAA, Certified Ethical Hacker, and specialized cloud and network security credentials.

I volunteer as an AWS Cloud Mentor at ALX Africa, serve as Cloud Security Lead for my university cyber club, and represent BSides Nairobi as a campus ambassador—roles where I coach learners, run weekly cloud security sessions, and help grow community cybersecurity capacity.
