I’m a backend developer with 6+ years of experience building high-performance REST APIs and distributed architectures. I specialize in Ruby on Rails and PHP, and I’m used to shipping improvements that matter to real enterprise clients.

In my last role at Camillion, I identified and resolved performance bottlenecks in critical backend endpoints using New Relic, eliminating N+1 queries with Mongoid eager loading and improving throughput with asynchronous processing via Sidekiq. I also contributed to major upgrades (Rails 7→8 and Mongoid 8→9) on a production API serving multiple enterprise clients.

I design granular authorization and resilient backend systems, including permissions with Pundit policy inheritance, and I build automated workflows like cron jobs, async workers, and multi-tenant PDF report generation. I integrate AI features using the OpenAI API—automating content evaluation through prompt engineering with dynamic context.

Earlier, at Coches.com, I built a REST API from scratch for a mobile iOS app, delivered a vehicle valuation engine with collaboration from Data Science, and worked on distributed event-driven microservices at the scale of millions of records. I enjoy working autonomously with remote product teams and technical leadership, balancing performance, security, and maintainability.
