At Figy, I’m the main Android developer and write most of the backend logic. Since joining, I’ve doubled the app’s feature set, built data-access layers, and implemented real-time data flows with GraphQL and REST.
I’ve also built server-side upload pipelines for CSV, JSON, and media, with schema validation and protections against malicious uploads. I work across Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android, and validate UI/UX on iOS with Swift and SwiftUI.
For my Maastricht University bachelor’s thesis, I built a parallel engine for Surakarta endgame databases, reaching a 5.4× speedup and reducing storage by 6.3× through combined symmetry mapping and 2-bit packing. My project work also includes reinforcement learning, computer vision, robotics, and routing.
