What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend role where I can build Java/Kotlin microservices and REST APIs for fintech or security-critical systems, optimize performance, and mentor others—using PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Spring to ship reliable integrations.

I’m a Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience building Java and Kotlin backend systems for financial and security-critical environments. I’ve built and modernized microservices and REST APIs for credit scoring, affiliate checks, and internal bank security teams, with a strong focus on reliability and maintainability.

Most recently, as a Chief Engineer Developer, I mentored 3 interns and junior backend developers while building a modular B2C credit-scoring service for internal bank security. Previously, I led work that increased average throughput from 1,000 to 6,000 rpm by optimizing web service queries, reworked legacy B2B credit-scoring into a distributed Kotlin service, implemented Kerberos authentication/authorization, and delivered integration/unit tests, performance optimization, and PostgreSQL/Kafka/Solr-based solutions.
