Clement Rono

As an Energy Engineer, I monitor energy systems remotely to assess performance and efficiency, analyze data from sensors to identify trends, and collaborate with teams to implement energy-saving measures. I prepare reports on energy usage and stay updated with the latest energy monitoring technologies.

During my internship, I was involved in welding and fabrication of steel doors, general maintenance of water pumps, CCTV installation, and servicing of motors. I also participated in project management and maintenance of crane towers.

As an Agripreneur, I utilized ODK and KIAMIS tools for data collection from farmers, conducted field visits, registered farmers, and mapped farms using GPS technology. I ensured data integrity and educated farmers on project objectives.

As an Enumerator, I conducted household visits to gather data from tea farmers, verified information, educated farmers on the census, and used GPS tools for mapping. I ensured data accuracy and maintained confidentiality.

I gained hands-on experience in quality cutting of tea, machinery lubrication, maintenance of motors, and general troubleshooting. I also participated in preventive maintenance and learned about boiler operation.

In my role as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, I ensured safe operation of mechanical equipment, diagnosed issues, performed maintenance on tea processing machinery, and monitored steam generation processes.

During my attachment, I engaged in bench and sheet metal work, light fabrication, and machining processes. I also gained CAD/CAM skills and experience in automotive basics.
