At Vaxcyte, I built an adjuvant process development lab from scratch as a sole contributor, establishing equipment, analytical methods, and manufacturing. I developed the aluminum phosphate adjuvant process used in VAX-31 and VAX-A1, then scaled it from 100 mL to 50 L and 500x while preserving particle characteristics.
I also own a $200K capital program for a 50 L vessel steam jacket buildout, from scoping and design through construction handoff. Before Vaxcyte, at Earli I developed lipid nanoparticle formulations and supported scale-up; my earlier research included polymer nanoparticle vaccine delivery systems and an optical waveguide-based biosensor.
