Christine Jade Sanchez

I am a dedicated and passionate biochemistry student at the University of the Philippines Manila, currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree. As a DOST Merit Scholar, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to academic excellence and my enthusiasm for the sciences. My educational journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in biochemistry, complemented by hands-on experience in various laboratory techniques.

During my internship at the University of the Philippines Diliman's Institute of Biology, I honed my skills in molecular biology, performing experiments such as DNA amplification and gel electrophoresis. Additionally, I produced educational videos that showcased these experiments, enhancing my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively. My editorial internship with Pinoy Scientists allowed me to further develop my writing skills, as I contributed to monthly newsletters highlighting the achievements of Filipino scientists.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I actively engage in leadership roles within several organizations, including the Alliance of Philippine Pre-Medical Societies and the UP Biochemistry Society. These experiences have not only enriched my understanding of the medical field but have also strengthened my collaboration and organizational skills. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a challenging role that allows me to contribute to scientific advancements and health awareness.
