What I'm looking for

I'm looking to transition into a Cloud or DevOps engineering role where I can build reliable infrastructure, automate operational work, strengthen my AWS and Linux skills, and apply my process-driven approach to system reliability.

I've built and deployed a containerised system-monitoring application using Python Flask, Docker, Nginx, PostgreSQL, and AWS EC2.

In my self-directed homelab, I created a live system metrics dashboard, containerised its multi-service stack, and implemented PostgreSQL logging for CPU, RAM, and disk metrics.

I deployed the stack to AWS EC2 and wrote Bash automation for hourly PostgreSQL backups to S3, using scoped IAM permissions and security group rules. I also built a Bash health monitor for an Ubuntu Server VM on Proxmox, scheduled through cron and documented in GitHub.

My experience in AI training, pharmaceutical quality-focused work, and time-critical care environments has made me methodical about accuracy, documentation, reliability, and following clear processes as I transition into Cloud and DevOps engineering.
